THIS IS SHELBY MASON
Shelby is 27 and resides in Portland, after fleeing the monotony of small town life in southern Washington. She has been modeling on and off for 8 years. She’s been shooting implied nudity since the beginning of her journey, and kept pushing the bar until she became more comfortable.
She’s now become more comfortable and is eager to promote the idea the nudity is not necessarily synonymous with sex.
Also, she thinks that shooting nudity makes wardrobe selection easier.
Her goals with modeling are to work with and build relationships with like minded people. Being famous isn’t her number-one goal. “If this were to become something big, in a time when anyone with a smartphone and a good butt can become famous,” she says, “well then I’ll consider myself lucky!”
Shelby loves to travel. She is looking forward to returning to Southeast Asia or anywhere else tropical. She’s looking forward to sipping tequila & grapefruit cocktails and swimming, as the sea is something she cannot do without.
As far as her body art goes, she considers herself a totem from animals and plants. Her magnificent Black Swan chest piece is not only a a homage to her own life’s journey, but also one to her love of animals.
Shelby loves spiders. Her favorite pets are Freya, a Brazilian White Knee Tarantula, and Frigg, a Pink Toed Tarantula. One day she hopes to add a Pumpkin Patch Tarantula to her eight-legged family.
