FINALLY…right?
As I say in the editor’s note…accept my apologies if you were expecting Issue #3’s release on April 1st. I made a “command decision” and opted to delay the issue until it was perfect, or as perfect as we could get it.
I’m confident you will be impressed with what we’ve put together.
You may not now it but in January Melissa and I went to Paris to show our cards to the world’s best lingerie designers at the world’s largest gathering of them. Without going into the gory details (those will be revealed in later issues), despite my insecurities and stage fright we impressed a surprising number of them with what we were doing. My dream of making Black Label Magazine not only a showcase of stunning nude art photography, but also a showcase of stunning lingerie got one step closer to being a reality. You lingerie addicts should enjoy it quite nicely.
In this Issue we showcase another fabulous lingerie designer, Britta Uschkamp, and her creative designs involving ribbons (proper ribbons, she will tell you) with a special two part editorial. While we were in Paris, Melissa and I spent a wonderful evening with Britta, during which we began a candid interview with her about her designs and her inspiration. You will find this inside the exclusive Black Label Editorial”Ribbon Play.”
We also introduce another contributing photographer: Berlin shooter Jörg Otto’s awesome pictorial with German supermodel Micaela Schäfer. I am thrilled to be able to include Jörg and Micaela in the pages of Black Label, and we can all look forward to future contributions from them.
Also included in this issue, as promised in the back of Issue #1, is adult superstar Kendra James, strutting her stuff around a decadent hotel suite. And keep a close eye toward the end of Verronica Kirei’s editorial “La Feline” for a little surprise.
I hope you enjoy this monster, 228 page issue of Black Label Magazine as much as we enjoyed creating it! You’ll find it was worth the wait!
Cheers!
